In this week’s sermon, titled “Absolute,” Lead Pastor Chris Baker shares the story of Josiah, who was one of Judah’s best kings.
He made a very noble attempt at bringing the people of Judah and Israel back to the Lord. Jeremiah prophesied during Josiah’s reign and his words reveal that the national restoration to the Lord was very shallow at best.
Josiah was sincere, but the people by in large were not.
It’s like the kid whose mother tells him, “Sit down or I’ll spank you!” The kid sits down and then says to his mom, “I may be sitting down on the outside, but inside I’m still standing up.”
Jeremiah’s message makes it clear that while Josiah made Judah and Israel renew the covenant on the outside, inside most of them were still captivated by sin and rebellion against God.
True and lasting national repentance was Josiah’s aim, but the results were short lived.
Jeremiah shows us that sometimes hard hearts must be broken by punishment before they can be healed by God’s grace.
Listen to Pastor Chris’s full message as he goes through the entire story of 2 Chronicles 34, shares some of his personal testimony, and explains that we need to keep continuing to seek the power of the Holy Spirit if we are to become His empowered church in the days of NO ABSOLUTES.

In this week’s sermon, titled “Ghost Talk,” Lead Pastor Chris Baker acknowledges the Day of Pentecost and shares that he believes that we need a harvest of the Spirit of God in our lives once again.
As witnesses, we cannot afford to stop seeking to be filled with His power.
As the church, we cannot afford to remain the same – we need to be transformed.
As His children, we cannot afford to ignore His immediate presence.
We as a church need that Pentecostal power once again. The kind of power that needs to be attended to constantly, around the clock, so that it never goes out.
If the fire of the Spirit of God is going to live in our lives, it should never be allowed to go out!
The people of God that are walking in the Spirit, flowing in His gifts, cherishing His presence, and stirring up the fire He has placed within us.
Do you believe in the Holy Ghost? Are you going to make a difference in this world in these last days?

In this week’s sermon, Lead Pastor Chris Baker shares that we need to sober up for the biggest battle Americans are facing today – the battle for the very soul of our nation.
We see it around us every single day. And it’s time for the church to sober up.
The erosion of our society has been a slow process, but we’ve seen it accelerate rapidly in the past few years. This nation that we’ve all comes to know and love continues to erode…
and become more of a finger in the face of God.
The position we’re in today is because of what we tolerated yesterday.
The position we’ll be in tomorrow will be because of what we tolerate today.
In Daniel’s day, he saw a lot of the same. But the situation was much worse.

In this week’s sermon, Lead Pastor Chris Baker shares his concerns about how the church is at risk of getting stuck in a “half way in, half way out” relationship with Jesus Christ.
A prevailing sin in the church today is the sin of lukewarmness.
The 7 churches mentioned in Revelation are symbolic for the churches of today.
They speak to us prophetically. They speak to us practically. They speak to us powerfully.
But the church is made up of individuals. Therefore, there is a message for each individual follower of The Lord in the story of Revelation.

In this week’s sermon, Lead Pastor Chris Baker gives us a glimpse of Paul’s problems that God told him to press through, despite being under pressure that can only be defined as “great”, as a means to bring glory to His kingdom.
A bird does not give up searching for worms today because it didn’t find any yesterday.
Understand that your purpose in Christ doesn’t end because of troubles, or because there is a missing piece in you. God brings out the best in us when faced with trouble, and we have to face the pressure, and pray!
As God is building His people, Pastor Chris figured out that strong rooted, God-fearing people are produced and built under pressure. We will never be able to understand the miracles of God without the troubles of life. The enemy of our souls would love to have us throw in the towel when things get tough.
Keep up the good fight solider!

In this week’s sermon, Lead Pastor Chris Baker shares the story of Moses in Exodus chapters 1 through 12 and shares his revelations on how the struggles of your life are actually a part of God’s plan for you.
Whenever we do something, we generally tend to do it the quickest, easiest way.
People don’t usually take the long way home on purpose. Or try to do things the hard way.
So when Pastor Chris was reading the story of Exodus, it struck him as strange as to why God does things the hard way.
There were the Israelites in Egypt, slaves for 430 years.
Oppressed. Hurting. Miserable.
God saw their misery and decided that the time had come to fulfill what had been promised generations ago… that the Israelites would go and possess a land of of their own.

In this week’s sermon, Lead Pastor Chris Baker asks “what are you full of?” Some of us can answer that question more quickly than others.
Who do you think had the greatest thing in history to worry about?
The answer: JESUS!
Think about His mission. To minister for only three years. To die at age 33. To sacrifice for all of our sins.
The big question Pastor Chris has: How did He go through life with that kind of burden, yet it seemed that he had:
Jesus had every reason to have all of these things to cause Him to climb into a great depression hole, yet He was out rocking the world with hope and peace and an incredible power in His culture.
Wherever He was, things changed radically for those who were in His midst.
Think about where we are at in our time:
The list goes on and on and on. If we just focus on these things, we are doomed forever.
